Can community members use the library and online resources?
Answer
Yes, community members can use the physical library space. Our doors are open Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. After 5PM and on weekends, the doors lock and can only be accessed by card key access. All community members will need to call the library at 610-341-1777 in order to gain access during those times.
Community members may also borrow print books and physical DVDs if they obtain a library membership. Area clergy and students or faculty/staff from specific libraries can obtain a membership for free; other community members will need to purchase a membership through the Friends of the Library program. The only databases available for community members are open access databases, as noted by the open padlock icon next to the database's name. You can see our full Community/Alumni User Policy here.
